Born from the Vibe: My Life in Kisumu 🇰🇪
I was born and still live in Kisumu, a pulsating city right by Lake Victoria, where the vibe is as strong as the morning sun. Everything here is full of colour, texture, and unfiltered energy.
Since childhood, I realized an accessory wasn't just decoration, but a carrier of meaning. No Fast Fashion, just items that have soul and a story. That’s exactly what I want every piece from Glow by Hellen to do for you.
Fun Fact: When I was little, I loved it when my grandmother got a new kikoi fabric. I’d take a scrap and try to fashion a miniature dress for my doll. The result was... let's just say my design skills needed work back then. 😅 But that passion for patterns stuck with me!
A Bridge Between Continents: Love and Business 🇦🇹❤️
When I started this business a year ago, I had no idea how much my life would change. Now, I’m preparing for a great adventure: moving with my husband to the Austrian Alps! 🏔️ Seriously—I’m currently studying German at the university in Kisumu to make the transition a little less shocking!
My husband, whom I met in Austria, helps me incredibly with Glow by Hellen. Together, we are building this bridge that connects the pride of East Africa with international elegance. It's proof that beauty and entrepreneurship know no borders.
